9 CtP and 2 Digital Press shipments in January.

Eurographique, working closely with Highwater Products Limited, announce a great start to 2013.

Eurographique Ltd, a UK supplier of reconditioned pre-press and digital presses, started 2013 with the shipment of nine CtP systems and two digital presses.

The shipments comprised B1 and B2 CtP systems to America, Canada, China, Egypt, India, Mexico, Russia, Tanzania and a B3 Violet system to Ipswich. They also shipped an Indigo 3500 to Germany and a Xerox 242 to Rwanda.

“Our business is built on 30 years of international sales to the print industry and we are seeing a significant increase in the demand for good quality refurbished CtP and Digital Presses in the emerging markets.

Working closely with HighWater Products Limited we offer factory refurbished Violet CtP systems bundled with Heights processors upgrade to support the Fuji Pro-V plate. This makes for a very affordable entry into high quality, low chemistry plate production.

It was however a pleasure to deliver a B3 Violet system to a litho printer in the UK whose imagesetter was nearing the end of its life cycle. The return on investment now makes the decision to move from Conventional to CtP a simple one with a factory refurbished CtP system and affordable CtP plates.

Our sales to America and Canada this month included end users who were early adopters of Thermal CtP who need to invest in a faster automated system that can take advantage of the processless CtP plate technology’s now widely available.”

Eurographique has recently launched a consumables division offering their International dealer channel a wide range of plates and film sourced from around the world. Heading up this division is Jack Wiethoff who many of you will remember from his days at Kodak in senior management roles in Europe and USA.
