High Quality, Efficient and Cost Effective

The Cascade RIP is a powerful Harlequin^TM Scriptworks^TM interpreter. The latest version (v8.3r1) offers true 16 bit screening and outputs to a wide range of CtP, CtF Proofers and digital printers. This easy to use RIP is now even faster with multi-threaded rendering.

Native Processing

The Cascade RIP processes PDF, PostScript and XPS natively, without prior conversion to another format or the need to flatten live transparency effects resulting in faster, more accurate throughput.

Font Emulation

There are times when a printer just has to find a way around the perennial problem of customer files supplied without the required font. That is exactly what the Harlequin RIP provides - another way around the problem. The RIP will make a typographically acceptable match to missing fonts with no text overflow and with appropriate character spacing, weight and width. It is ideal for time critical applications such as Print on Demand (digital print production), newspapers, magazines, jobs where artwork or advertising is supplied independently of the paying customer, and other applications where output must leave on time.  This is a standard feature of the Cascade RIP.
